God has blessed Malvern Hill Baptist Church and we are out of space in our worship service. On Sunday, May 7, our church is moving to two worship services (8:30 and 11:00) to enable us to reach more people in our community with the gospel. As we prepare for these changes, we believe it is important that our preparation be bathed in prayer. Psalm 127:1 teaches, “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” We are praying for God to reach our community by building his church.
Because we believe prayer matters, we are inviting you to pray with us. In the week leading up to the launch of our second service, we are hoping to recruit enough people to pray every hour of the week. There are 168 hours in a week, so there are 168 slots open for you to sign up to pray for Malvern Hill and our community as we make room to reach more people.
If you do not have a church home, we are making room for you!

Even if you do not sign up for a time of prayer, you are still invited to pray for Malvern Hill as we take these next steps in our ministry. Here is a brief five point prayer guide you can use:
- Pray for God’s will to be done in and through our church.
- Pray for those who are far from Jesus in our community to hear the gospel and be changed.
- Pray for our volunteers and ministry staff who will have extra responsibilities on Sunday mornings.
- Pray for Pastor Craig to clearly present God’s word in each service.
- Pray for the Lord to continue to raise up new LifeGroup leaders to disciple the new converts who will come into our church in the coming months.
