Tomorrow, many in SC will gather for a discussion on the GCR in our state. I’ve compiled a short list of links and documents that may be beneficial for tomorrow’s discussion. A budget brochure from the SCBC that shows 26% of the budget going to support our institutions. However, if one takes the 40% to the SBC off the top, it becomes apparent that far more than 26% of our in-state dollars are going to support our institutions. 8.2 million of 19.2 million (budget amount that remains in SC) equals 42% of our in-state dollars going to support our institutions.
