I just thought that we could all stand to be reminded that when Christ said it was finished upon the cross, he meant it.
Pastor, it is not your job to save, redeem, ransom, or atone. It is not your calling to be sacrificed–it would do no one any good anyway because you are sinful.
Christ accomplished it all on the cross. It was finished then and it continues to be finished today.
Preach the gospel as a fact of history.
IT IS FINISHED! Praise Jesus.
